The demand intelligence tool removes automated activity and delivers an early demand signal before it shows up in bookings
DULLES, VA, 5 October 2026 3Victors, an ATPCO company, today introduced DemandView, a demand intelligence tool that identifies and removes bot-driven and automated shopping activity from flight search data and showcases early demand signals to show where real traveler demand is building, before it appears in bookings.
Travelers search before they book, but forecasting still relies heavily on booking data that reflects demand only after it has formed. With an earlier view, airlines have time to adjust capacity in either direction. Airports and destination organizations typically have no booking data at all before a route launch or an event. In those cases, search demand may be the only signal available before departure, giving them time to prepare for added passengers or to launch marketing to boost demand.
According to the 2025 Imperva Bad Bot Report, approximately 40 percent of raw flight shopping traffic comes from bots, scrapers, and automated tools rather than people, which inflates apparent demand in the search data airlines already hold. This trend will only escalate as AI agent searches grow.
DemandView draws on more than 1.4 billion daily search records, stripping the automated noise using machine learning models. It then validates and enriches what remains into a view of overall traveler demand by market in a simple dashboard or data feed for use in an existing revenue management system. The tool has also incorporated historical data from 2024, so any market can be reviewed year-over-year or over multiple years.
The official launch arrives during the industry’s largest route restructuring since the pandemic. The 2026 fuel shock has pushed airlines to cut between 5 and 20 percent of their routes[1], and those decisions are expensive to reverse.
"Every team in this industry is making capacity and pricing calls against a booking curve that is weeks behind the market," said Justin Jander, Director of Product at 3Victors. "No forecast can anticipate every event that moves demand, but we know travelers search before they book, so the demand signal shows up first in that search data. The problem has been that raw search data is full of bots, and an analyst who doesn't trust a number has to go verify it before acting on it. DemandView removes that step and gives teams a clean read on search demand, so they can seethe shift happening and plan for it."
The Hawaiʻi Visitors and Convention Bureau was DemandView’s first destination organization beta customer, and Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) contributed to design discussions during development, helping to refine and shape the new tool. These two use cases show that the value of this data goes beyond just airlines. Airports, tourism boards, and event organizers need advance signals for their own planning, and this data provides that.
DemandView joins PriceEye in the 3Victors portfolio, giving airline revenue management, network planning, commercial, and airport air service teams current demand trends that historical booking data alone can’t provide. The tool is now available to airlines, airports, destination organizations, and other companies that would benefit from DemandView’s insights. Find out more information at 3victors.com.
